I had the privilege of designing the Salish Sockeye Enamel Pin, featured in the Snoqualmie Artist Collection by Eighth Generation. This design reflects the cultural significance of the sockeye salmon to the Snoqualmie people, symbolizing resilience, abundance, and the deep connection between the community and the natural world. Using traditional Salish artform and the timeless story of the salmon's life cycle, the pin captures these elements in a modern, wearable form. It was an honor to contribute to a collection that highlights indigenous artistry and storytelling while supporting the mission of Eighth Generation to empower Native artists and celebrate their heritage. This piece is available for purchase on their website, offering a tangible way for individuals to connect with the cultural narrative behind the design.
